I planted some seeds not really expecting them to grow and now I have a little flower/cucumber garden! Now I'd really like to plant anything else what things can I plant this late? I live in an area in CA where temps rarely drop below 90 degrees but I have lost of shade too.
I just started a little garden even though I thought it would be to late?
Find something that will mature in the time that it will stay hot. Some varieties of tomatoes mature quickly. When it cools off you can do lettuce, broccol, etc. They like cooler weather.
Also, you can start an herb garden in a container that can be moved indoors if it gets cool.

Reply:try cherry / grape sized tomatoes, im in fl and the worked for me. pretty darn well, i was getting large yield everyday for a long time then poof, well, GOOD LUCK !
