A flower garden is shaped like a circle. Its radius is 19 yards.A circle shaped path goes around the garden?

the width of the path is 6 yards and The gardener is going to cover the path with soil If one bag of soil can cover 8 yard^2 how many bags of soil does the gardener need???? ( MUST BE A WHOLE NUMBER AND USE 3.14 Pi)
A flower garden is shaped like a circle. Its radius is 19 yards.A circle shaped path goes around the garden?
The total area of the path is the area of a circle with radius (19+6) =25 yards minus the area of the garden which is a circle of radius 19. So the area of the path is

pi * 25^2- pi*19^2= pi*(625-361)=829.38 yd^2. Since each bag covers 8 yd^2, you want

829.38 / 8 =103.67 bags, and since you need a whole number of bags, it would take a total of 104 bags.
Reply:Okay, I think its (pi*((19+6)^2-19^2))/8 = 33pi bags.

Or 103.62 or approximately 104 bags.
