Rabbits are treating my flower gardens like their personal salad bowl. How can i get rid of them ?

I've tried repellents, both commercial and homemade varieties and don't want to resort to using my.22 . Fencing is not a viable option either. Any suggestions ?

Get that time-tested varmint-catcher, the cat. %26gt;^..^%26lt;
Reply:i don't know about all these other methods but I do know that there is a .....i believe it's dried deer blood that u sprinkle around u'r garden along w/ marigolds. My folks used it for their garden %26amp; it keep the bunnies from have din-din @ u'r expense. Ck. w/ u'r local garden shop. They should have it. Don't use chemicals... this does work.
Reply:If you cut 1-2 foot lengths of old garden hose, and place them amoungst the plants, it's supposed to repel rabbits. The hose is meant to look like a snake to the rabbits, so they stay away. You would probably need to move the hose around every few days, just to keep them from becoming accustomed to it.
Reply:We used ivory soap.

cut it up and put it on sticks around the garden.

Also, marigolds are supposed to be helpful.
Reply:you could stop by a barber and get some hair from someones haircut or cut your own. this has human scent that will not go away, therefore scaring rabbits off. simple and cost effective.
Reply:Mix 1 tablespoon of baby shampoo and 1 tablespoon of ammonia in a quart of water, and spray every third evening.

You can also wrap bunches of dog and cat hair (available from a local groomer) in old pantyhose, and hang them from various areas in and around your garden.
