My first flower garden?

I just moved into a new apartment building that I share with my sister. We want to plant some flowers outside; we live in a nice neighborhood, and we think some flowers along the edging would look nice.

UNFORTUNATLY we are not the most experienced of gardeners. What would be some simple, no fail (but pretty) flowers to plant?? The house has an equal amount of sun and shade during the day. Any help would be appreciated!

First make sure it's ok with your landlord.

Then, go nuts!

Good annual flowers to look for in 4 or 6 packs are marigolds, dusty miller, nicotiana, snapdragons, alyssum, and impatients. If you want something that comes back every year, maybe look into daylilies. Pansies are also a good easy annual with lots of color, so are geraniums. Good luck!
Reply:petunias, geraniums, celosia, sweet potato vine
Reply:Petunia's! They grow well and require little care and come in all sorts of colors!!
