How do i keep deer out of my flower garden?
I don't know if these ideas work, but I heard about them on home improvement shows:

1) Coyote or dog urine. Some gardening supply stores actually sell coyote urine.

2) Dried blood. Some gardening supply stores have this in bags. Deer supposedly don't like the blood smell. The downside is that you have to reapply it after it rains.
Reply:They all forget therifle way to deal with deer.

Remington 308 cal. rifel.

If you are not a hunter, then you can boil oleander leaves and pour it into a spray bottle, it makes a poison, deer can stand this stuff. Report It
Reply:Rent my dog.. { just kidding} You can go to a nursery, there are plants[ forgot the} you can plant near, and deer do not like it, plant it as a buffer area . it works, I have a lot of deer at my place in Utah. I don't know the plant name, I am sure some one at the store will know, or you can lookit up,, Luck..
Reply:Believe it or not, animal urine ...especially dog or wolf, sprayed around the perimeter. i know it sounds a little disgusting, but you really won't be able to smell it though the deer (and rabbits) will.
Reply:Hang out Irish spring soap. Or any soap will do. You can hang it by string or stick it on a stick. Deer hate it and that is what orchards do.
Reply:I've heard that if you put up fishing line they will hit it and turn away.
Reply:I find that a .30-06 works pretty good...plus you get the added benefit of a well stocked freezer.
Reply:Soap chips.
Reply:Superior firepower.
