What is the best/most effective way besides a fence or traps to keep rabbits out of my yard/flower garden?

How about a scare crow (a fake owl or something)?

You need Elmer Fudd. He'll get that wascally wabbit.
Reply:2 ft high chicken wire fence is ony way.
Reply:The urine of almost any carnivore discourages rabbits. We have had very little trouble with rabbits since about 11 years ago when we got a couple of dogs who relieve themselves around the perimeter of our yard,. My friend, who does not have dogs, has her husband and sons . . . well . . . you get the picture. : ) She says it works like a charm. I believe you can also buy powdered urine at the garden store to spread around.
Reply:besides fence or traps? A BEAGLE , I suppose would do the trick
Reply:a small electric fence, or a sprinkler set to go off right at daylight and before nite fall
Reply:Hey. It's almost Easter. Give 'em a break and maybe "The Easter Bunny" will come see you and thank you. After that, aw, I can't say it. It sounds too cruel.
Reply:Plant some Marigolds around the edges, or get some animal repellent spray from your local nursery!
Reply:animal rid get in homedepo 20 dollars works great
Reply:We have a dog and he's extremely effective in keeping out rabbits, deer, mice, just about anything that wants to munch on the vegetables and flowers in our garden. We're lucky he's not a digger, some dogs are so be aware of this before you get one.
