· Would you prefer to have a flower garden or a vegetable garden? Why?
i would prefer a flower garden 'cause even if you can't eat what you see a real garden full of flowers lifts the spirits and touches the soul
Reply:both at the same time

runner beans and sweat peas

strawberrys trailing in baskets with a geranium

sweet corn and `morning glory.`

the list is endless

hope this helps
Reply:vegetable then i could be self sufficient!
Reply:When you come right down to it, the line is so fine between the two that you can rarely have just one or the other. Chives are definitely food but they are also very beautiful, especially flat chives. I grow them in all areas of the garden. Just as uplifting as having beautiful flowers to see, having a wonderful salad from your garden is just as satisfying. People with small plots to garden combine their veggies and their flowers in a small raised area. In nature it all grows together. Have lots of fun.
Reply:Vegetable garden because it saves you money from the supermarket and supermarket fruits and vegetable's farmers use chemical's to grow more fruits and vegetable's and fruits like tomatoes they are picked green and when they are shipped and get to their destination they are sprayed with ethylene gas so they can turn red that's why store tomatoes aren't as red as they are suppose to be they do this because when the tomatoes get red on the plant they become to soft to ship plus at the end of the harvest season you could have a yard full of fresh fruits and vegetables that wasn't produced using chemicals so they taste better and are healthier and you could save those seeds from the plants you produce and use it next season to do it over and over good luck! Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year! Peace.
Reply:oh1... DO i have to choose??
Reply:Veg - you could eat them with no additives or pesticides :)
Reply:flower...they look nicer
Reply:I JUST LOVE THE SMELL,COLORS, AND THE DIFFERENT SHAPE OF FLOWERS, I JUST LOVE THEM
Reply:i personally have both veggies to eat, flowers to decorate my house and yard %26amp; many flowers have medicinall value,
Reply:Can't I have a little of both like my grandfather.
Reply:Flower garden because they look prettier, a vegetable garden would be handy but too much work.
Reply:I personally am a fan of a veggie garden, if you choose your plants right they can be as beautiful or interesting as flowers with the added bonus of an edible product at the end of all your hard work and patience.
Reply:A flower garden, just like them
Reply:Mix the two and satisfy the eye and the appetite.
Reply:When I have the time, I like to have both a vegetable garden and a flower garden.

Nothing beats a well managed garden. xXx
Reply:flower because they are so bueatyful to watch them grow then you can pick and put in a vase all summer long and have fresh flowers for your home.
