Are you breaking up your perennial garden/plants in the Central Connecticut area?

I would be very interested in providing a good home for your Hostas, Black-eyed Susans, Cannas, etc. At 56 have worked too hard and have not spent enough time 'smelling the roses". About 3 years ago I had reason to slow down and was "bitten" by the gardening bug and have developed a deep passion for it. . I am on a mission to populate my new garden with beautiful plants and flowers without going broke and before a progressive and ultimately disabling neurological illlness makes it difficult if not impossible.

Best advice is to contact your local garden club. I'll bet that you will be able to find members who are willing to share their plants with you. You might also look in your own neighborhood. Many gardeners are very willing to share.

Good luck with your gardening projects.
Reply:You can divide them now, but you will probably have better results if you do it in the early spring.
