For a small garden ceremony wedding my 8 yr old daughter is the flower girl/ring bearer, what should she carry

My sister got married recently, and her venue did not allow flower petals to be dropped on the floor. My daughter was her flower girl and my son was her ring bearer. She had a Pomander made of small red roses similar to this made for her to carry (since her colors were burgundy and gold) and used gold ribbons on the top and had her carry this. This would be an easy way to have her carry flowers, attach the rings, and not have to worry about her "tossing" or dropping the rings on her way down the aisle.

Give her a small basket that matches her dress or that is completely white. Put the flower petals of your choice in them for her to toss and if you want her to be the ring holder as well then find a ribbon with the colors that you are using for the wedding and tie them to the handle of the basket so that way she can do both and not lose them at the same time. Go to http://www.rexcraft.com and pick a basket of your liking!
Reply:I agree with having her have the flower girl basket and in the basket have the box with the rings-- make sure she doesn't throw those with the petals--- and when she reaches the altar you or your fiance can have her handle you them.
Reply:Give her a basket with petals (to spread across the ground) or flowers in it, and then tie the rings to a ribbon and then to the basket to make sure that she doesn't drop them.
Reply:Well a flower girl carries a basket of flowers, and a ring bearer carries a ring on a pillow... Is she going to be both? I'm not sure I understand what you're asking.
Reply:Then she should carry either flowers or rings.

Whats your question again?
Reply:A pomander. That is a ball of flowers on a ribbon. They are ADORABLE!
