Diazanon.
How do I get rid of earwigs in the flower garden?
Sadly, Diazanon can no longer be used where I live.
A safe method is to lay 12" pieces of bamboo on the soil where the pests are most active. Each morning go out with a container of water and shake them out of the bamboo; then dump the liquid someplace they won't return from. They like to spend their evenings there where it is cool and moist. Alternatively, you can stick anything hollow about an inch in diameter three or four inches into the ground, one end in the soil, the other sticking up, and they will accomplish the same effect. If you do it every morning your problem should largely go away in short order.
