Try giving your chickens their own fresh greens everyday. All the stuff you would put into the compost pile. Feed the greens to them as far away from the garden as possible. You might get lucky.
How does a person keep chickens out of a flower garden or vegtable garden without a fence?
I haven't found a way yet! Mine free roam all day long and make a mess out of my gardens. Other then keeping them in their own fenced it yard I don't know. And keep in mind they can fly just high enough to get over a fence.
Reply:They make this organic chili spray that is extremely hot. Spray some on your plants and they shouldn't eat them anymore. It doesn't effect your plants either. look for capsaicin in the ingredients in the Sprays for plants.

Reply:Feed the chickens someplace away from the garden. Continuously do this so that the chickens will always look for food someplace other than your garden. Or you could just build a chicken coup and call it a day.

Second offender - baked chicken with rice
Third offender - BBQ chicken
Either they will catch on or you will run out of chickens, but either way, they won't bother your garden anymore.
