Who knows how to make artificial rocks. I want to make some large ones for my flower garden.?

Making artificial rocks is a bit elaborate. Regular paper mache would obviously not hold up to the weather. I found you a link from someone who actually seems to know the process. You will have to decide if you want to go through all this trouble or just buy what you want.

paper mache, look it up
Reply:i saw some artificial rocks in front of a restaurant last week. They were made out of a styrofoam-like material. Then painted like rocks w/ variations of gray and one even had moss on it.
Reply:Chicken wire, and patch-all or cement. Paint it the color of rock.
Reply:It would be easier, and cheaper, to buy them. You need to make forms and molds that, on a large scale would be difficult and costly.
Reply:I have one in my yard - it appears to be kind of like paper mache, but more durable. Almost fiber glass like actually.
Reply:Go here. Too bad the Monster House link is not available anymore. They have about half a dozen products depending on your needs.

Click on the "sculpting" hyperlink for the list.
