Tired of office work....Would you be willing to pay someone to just pull your weeds from your flower garden?

In Florida we have year around weeds. I'd rather pull weeds then weekly reports!!

How much would you be willing to pay (per hour) for someone to pull your weeds??

My advise would be to check with your local garden center or one in a more affluent neighborhood. I'm sure the people working there have people who call all the time asking for people just like you and they should have an idea of what it pays.

Unfortunately, pulling weeds doesn't require that much skill so the pay will not be that great. You might consider becoming a "gardener's assistant" for the elderly - rake leaves, pull weeds and help plant and fertilize. A lot of elderly people can keep up with the watering but must pay someone to help with the seasonal work. They will not pay that much, they are on a strict budget and require a lot of work. Pushing paper may work out best in the end...

Good luck!
Reply:Unfortunately because of illegal slave labor, that job only pays minimum wage... or less!
Reply:I can relate to Office Work . But think about it , although we don't like to pull weeds , you can be out side and enjoy the fresh air , plus pul your weeds . Take your time , it is good for relaxation ,and do it when your not in a hurry to do anything else .

I myself WILL NOT pay someone to pull my weeds . I enjoy the outdoors . Even if it means pulling weeds .

As far as how much to charge if you decide to go that route ,figure what people get an hr.to do a job . If you hate it that much I would think you wouldn't care what you had to pay .
Reply:Awww, lol. I'm not laughing at you ...I'm laughing with you. I feel the same way somedays. I would pay you but I can't afford the plane fare and we don't have many weeds yet. But you could always come up here and wait for the snow to melt and have a holiday while you're at it?
