What's the easiest way to get rid of slugs in my flower garden?

bury a bowl in the ground so the lip is just above the ground and fill with beer. Don't you know all slugs fell off the wagon?
What's the easiest way to get rid of slugs in my flower garden?
I have seen people use diatomic earth. This is an organic remedy. It is made out of dead diatoms, whose shells are made out of a really sharp material, (I think silica?) and the material cuts the slugs, and they eventually die. Although, where you get them, or how much it costs, I am not sure. I am going to guess that you can get it at a hardware store, such as Lowes, or Home Depot.

Reply:put a glass of beer in the garden, when its full of slugs throw them away somewhere, you will soon gather all the slugs this way

Reply:I'm sure if you get a dish and fill it with vinegar, the slugs are attracted to the smell or something!!!!then they cannot get out the dish or die not sure which, but anyway you should end up with a dish of slugs.



dunno where i heard it or if it works, but hey whats the worst that can happen!

Reply:Go to OSH and buy some kinda spraycan that kills slugs.
Reply:Use small lids filled with beer. The slug has to be able to get into the beer. They will get drunk and drowned.
